Ashley Tisdale started her acting career in 1988, and since then she has appeared in number of motion pictures and television programs. She was first seen on-screen at the age of twelve playing small roles in ‘7th Heaven,’ the television drama and ‘Smart Guy,’ an American sitcom. Her first voice role came a year later in ‘Big Bug’s Life,’ the computer-animated comedy film.
She has appeared in minor roles in various television series, including ‘Boston Public,’ for which she also earned a ‘Young Artist Award’ nomination, ‘The Amanda Show,’ ‘Still Standing,’ ‘Beverly Hills, 90210,’ and ‘The Hughleys.’
‘The Suite Life of Zack & Cody’ marked her first main role. Her breakout role came with ‘High School Musical,’ the musical television film that became the most watched movie of 2006. She appeared in the movie series, ‘High School Musical 2,’ ‘High School Musical 3: Senior Year,’ and ‘Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure.’ She played the lead in ‘Phineas & Ferb’ that received positive reviews.
