Alona Tal made her screen debut in the 2002 film ‘Pim Pam Po In the Magic Castle’ where she played the role of ‘Shusha the Witch.’ In 2003, she became a part of the television sitcom series ‘HaPijamot,’ created by Arik Zilberman, Ruby Duenyas, and Yoav Tzafir. While Tal remained a part of the show until 2004, she made a brief return to HaPijamot in 2006. She next appeared in television series like ‘Veronica Mars’ (2004-2005), ‘Cold Case’ (2006), ‘Supernatural’ (2006-2007, 2009, 2011), ‘Cane’ (2007), and ‘The Cleaner’ (2008). In 2008, she starred as ‘Gina Hedlund’ in the comedy film ‘College,’ directed by Deb Hagan. The film received mostly negative reviews from critics and was a box office bomb. She was next seen in the television series and shows ‘The Mentalist’ (2009), ‘Knight Rider’ (2009), ‘Monk’ (2009), ‘Independent Lens’ (2010), ‘Leverage’ (2010), ‘The Defenders’ (2010), ‘Pretty Little Liars’ (2011), ‘Prime Minister's Children’ (2011), ‘The Killing’ (2011), ‘Powers’ (2012), and ‘Cult’ (2013).
In 2014, she joined the main cast of the American drama streaming television series ‘Hand of God’ as ‘Jocelyn Harris.’ The series ran for 2 seasons and aired its final episode in 2017. She next played the role of ‘Zohar’ in the Israeli drama television series ‘Hostages’ in 2016. In 2017, Tal starred as ‘Stella’ in the American military drama television series, ‘SEAL Team,’ created by Benjamin Cavell. The series was renewed for a sixth season in 2022. Tal was last seen playing the role of ‘Young Miriam’ in the American science fiction drama streaming television series ‘Away’ in 2020.
