Agyness Deyn (born Laura Michelle Hollins), who enjoyed a highly successful career as one of the top models, made her screen debut in short-films ‘Mean to Me’ and ‘Acid Burn’ (both 2010). Her debut feature-film was (remake of 1981’s) action-fantasy film ‘Clash of the Titans’ (2010) in the role of Greek Goddess ‘Aphrodite.’
After another short-film ‘Here’ (2012) and appearing in music-videos ‘We Found Love’ (as narrator) and ‘Woodkid: Iron’ (both 2011), Deyn played the role of ‘stripper Flo’ in English remake of Danish crime-thriller film ‘Pusher’ (2012). She starred in lead-role as a young woman with epilepsy in ‘Electricity’ (2013), which was adapted from a Ray Robinson novel.
Further, Deyn played female lead ‘Chris Guthrie’ in drama-film ‘Sunset Song’ (2015) based on Scottish novel of same name by Scottish author Lewis Gibbon. In 2016, she appeared as ‘Hannah’ in sci-fi drama-film ‘The White King,’ and also had brief appearance in comedy-drama mystery-film ‘Hail, Caesar.’
Deyn played the main character ‘DI Elaine Renko’ in pre-apocalyptic crime-drama series ‘Hard Sun’ (2018). Next, she played ‘Dr. Freya Upton’ in Netflix’s sci-fi thriller film ‘The Titan’ (2018) and ‘Janet’ in sci-fi horror film ‘Patient Zero’ (2018). In Alex Ross Perry’s drama-film ‘Her Smell’ (2018) she played fictional band’s bassist ‘Marielle Hell.’
