She made her silver screen debut in the 2010 Chris Renaud and Pierre Coffin-directed American computer-animated comedy film ‘Despicable Me’ where she voiced ‘Edith’ (Korean dub). The film received a favorable response from critics and was a major financial success, grossing over $543.2 million on a budget of $69 million. In 2012, she appeared in the South Korean documentary film ‘I Am’ directed by Choi Jin-sung. The following year, she returned to voice ‘Edith’ (Korean dub) in ‘Despicable Me 2,’ the sequel to the 2010 film ‘Despicable Me.’ The film was warmly received by critics and did impressive business at the box office, grossing over $970.8 million on a budget of $76 million. She next appeared in television shows like ‘The Producers’ (2015), ‘Warm and Cozy’ (2015), ‘Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo’ (2016), and ‘Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo’ (2016). In 2017, she portrayed ‘Kang So-joo’ in the South Korean television series ‘Bad Thief, Good Thief’ created by Lee Jae-Dong. Seohyun won the ‘MBC Drama Award’ for her performance in the show. She continued to star in television shows like ‘Time’ (2018), ‘Hello Dracula’ (2020), and ‘Private Lives’ (2020).
