Randall Mario Poffo or ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage first appeared on the TV-show ‘Baywatch’ (1996) in an episode based on wrestling. The same year, he lent his voice to ‘Rasslor’ in ‘Dexter’s Laboratory.’
Savage appeared as himself on ‘The Jeff Foxworthy Show’ (1997), ‘The Weird Al Show’ (1997), the sitcom ‘Mad about You’ (1999), and the comedy-show ‘Arliss’ (1999). He played ‘Whitelaw’ in the action-crime series ‘Walker, Texas Ranger’ (1999).
Savage played ‘Macho Man’ in his first movie, ‘Ready to Rumble’ (2000), and appeared as ‘Wrestler Bonesaw McGraw’ in ‘Spider-Man’ (2002). He was also seen in the sitcom-series ‘Nikki’ (2001).
Savage provided voice to ‘Space Ghost’s grandfather’ in the series ‘Space Ghost Coast to Coast’ (1997). He was voice-actor for the series ‘Duck Dodgers’ (2003), ‘Whatever Happened to Robot Jones’ (2003), ‘The X’s’ (2005), and as ‘Gorilla’ in ‘King of the Hill’ (2007). He lent his voice to the character ‘The Thug’ in movies ‘Bolt’ (2008) and ‘Super Rhino’ (2009).
