Rick Rude was a professional American wrestler, who performed for many popular wrestling federations, including the ‘World Championship Wrestling’ (WCW), the ‘World Wrestling Federation’ (WWF), and the ‘Extreme Championship Wrestling’ (ECW). Known by his ring name ‘Ravishing Rick Dude,’ he made his wrestling debut on TV, in 1982, against Jos LeDuc, during ‘Mid Atlantic Championship Wrestling.’ He lost the fight. He later debuted in an episode of ‘WCW’ in 1983 and defeated Pat Rose. In 1984, he joined ‘Championship Wrestling from Florida’ (CWF). He made his big ‘WWF’ debut on ‘Superstars of Wrestling’ in 1987. He won the ‘WWF Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship’ at ‘WrestleMania V.’ He left the ‘WWF’ in 1990, after a dispute and returned to the ‘WCW’ in 1991, where he won the ‘World Heavyweight Championship.’ He returned to the ‘WWF’ in 1997, where he founded ‘D-Generation X’ stable. He returned to the ‘WCW’ in 1997, before retiring in 1999.
