Naga Chaitanya is known for his work in Telugu cinema. He made his debut in the action film ‘Josh’ (2009). Though the film received mixed reviews, Chaitanya won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut – South for his performance. His next film ‘Ye Maaya Chesave’ (2010) did better at the box office and he was named ‘The Rising Star of South’ at the ‘South Scope Cinema Awards.’ The romantic comedy film ‘100% Love’ (2011), in which he co-starred with Tamannaah, turned out to be a super hit. However, he failed to sustain his performance and the movies ‘Dhada’ and ‘Bejawada’ flopped the same year. He proved his acting skills in ‘Tadakha’ (2013) and ‘Manam’ (2014). His hit romantic drama movie ‘Premam’ (2016), featuring him opposite Shruti Hassan, received positive reviews and ‘Rarandoi Veduka Chudham’ became the highest grossing movie of 2019. His film ‘Venky Mama’ was also a success at the box office.
