Lucy Hale was first seen as a contestant in the American reality television singing competition series ‘American Juniors’ in 2003. The film garnered mostly positive reviews and was a moderate box office success. After making brief appearances in shows like ‘Ruby & the Rockits’ (2009), ‘Private Practice’ (2009), and ‘CSI: Miami,’ Hale got her breakthrough role as ‘Aria Montgomery’ in the American teen drama mystery-thriller television series ‘Pretty Little Liars’ in 2010. She earned several awards for her performance, including 7 ‘Teen Choice Awards’ and a ‘Young Hollywood Award.’ Hale remained a part of the show until it went off-air in 2017. In 2018, she starred as ‘Stella Abbott’ in the comedy-drama television series ‘Life Sentence.’ The show was canceled by The CW after airing its first season in June 2018. Hale joined the main cast of the American musical comedy-drama television series ‘Katy Keene’ in 2020. The show ran 13 episodes before it was canceled in July 2020. The following year, she appeared in the thriller miniseries titled ‘Ragdoll’ where she played the role of ‘Lake Edmonds.’Â
Apart from television, Hale has also appeared in films like ‘Fear Island’ (2009), ‘Scream 4’ (2011), ‘Secret of the Wings’ (2012), ‘Truth or Dare’ (2018), ‘Fantasy Island’ (2020), ‘A Nice Girl Like You’ (2020), and ‘Son of the South’ (2020).
