Lee Ha-nee first appeared in the 2009 television series ‘The Partner’ where she played the role of ‘Kim Jung-won.’ She next portrayed ‘Oh Se-young’ in the 2010 Korean television series ‘Pasta,’ directed by Kwon Seok-jang. The series aired 20 episodes and Ha-nee won ‘CETV Award’ and ‘MBC Drama Award’ for her performance in the show.
In 2011, Ha-ne made her first big-screen appearance as ‘Seon-nyeo’ in the drama film ‘Hit,’ directed by Seong-han Lee. In 2012, she starred as ‘Yeon-joo’ in the South Korean science fiction thriller film ‘Deranged,’ directed by Park Jung-woo. The film grossed over $28.4 million at the box office. That same year, she also portrayed ‘Soo-Yeon’ in the Jang Kyu-sung-directed South Korean historical comedy film ‘I Am the King.’ She played the role of ‘President Woo’ in the 2014 South Korean film ‘Tazza: The Hidden Card,’ directed by Kang Hyeong-cheol. The film earned over $31 million at the box office. In 2015, she portrayed ‘Hwangbo Yeo-won’ in the South Korean television series ‘Shine or Go Crazy,’ directed by So Hyung-suk and Yoon Ji-hoon. The series aired 24 episodes.
She next appeared in films like ‘Lost in the Moonlight’ (2016), ‘Fabricated City’ (2017), ‘Heart Blackened’ (2017), ‘The Bros’ (2017), and ‘Extreme Job’ (2019). In 2019, she starred as ‘Kim Na-ri’ in the South Korean crime drama film ‘Black Money,’ directed by Jung Ji-young. The film opened to a mixed reception and grossed over $16.2 million at the box office. She was last seen in the 2022 South Korean science fantasy action film ‘Alienoid’ where she played the role of ‘Min Kae-ae.’ The film received mixed reviews from critics upon release. She is all set to appear in the upcoming South Korean film ‘Phantom,’ directed by Lee Hae-young.
