Yeo Jin-goo made his big-screen debut as ‘Park Hee-chan’ in the 2005 South Korean romantic film ‘Sad Movie,’ directed by Kwon Jong-kwan. The following year, he made his first television appearance in the romance series ‘I Want to Love.’ He went on to star in television series like ‘Queen of the Game’ (2007), ‘Iljimae’ (2008), ‘Tazza’ (2008), ‘Ja Myung Go’ (2009), ‘Swallow the Sun’ (2009), ‘The Reputable Family’ (2010), ‘Giant’ (2010), ‘Warrior Baek Dong-soo’ (2011), ‘Deep Rooted Tree’ (2011), ‘Moon Embracing the Sun’ (2012), and ‘Missing You’ (2012). In 2013, he starred as ‘Hwa-yi’ in the South Korean action film ‘Hwayi: A Monster Boy,’ directed by Jang Joon-hwan. The film grossed over US$16.4 million at the box office. Jin-goo also won several awards, including the ‘Blue Dragon Film Award’ and ‘Director's Cut Award’ for his performance in the film. That same year, Jin-goo also portrayed ‘Hong Hye-sung / Noh Jun-hyuk’ in the South Korean television sitcom ‘Potato Star 2013QR3,’ directed by Kim Byung-wook. The series aired 120 episodes before going off-air in 2014. He continued to star in television series such as ‘Orange Marmalade’ (2015), ‘The Royal Gambler’ (2016), ‘Circle’ (2017), ‘Reunited Worlds’ (2017), ‘The Crowned Clown’ (2019), and ‘My Absolute Boyfriend’ (2019). He portrayed ‘Goo Chan-sung’ in the 2019 South Korean television series ‘Hotel del Luna,’ created by Studio Dragon. The series was a massive success and went on to become one of the highest-rated Korean dramas of all time. In 2021, he starred as ‘Han Joo-won’ in the South Korean television series ‘Beyond Evil,’ directed by Shim Na-yeon. The show was listed among the top 10 best Korean dramas of 2021 by NME. Jin-goo was last seen in the 2022 South Korean television series ‘Link: Eat, Love, Kill,’ directed by Hong Jong-chan.
