Jesse Spencer is an Australian actor and musician. He started his career with a role in the play 'The King and I' (1991). This was followed by the stage production of 'Winnie the Pooh' (1992) and 'Scrooge' (1993). Later the actor went on to appear in the plays 'Peter Pan' (1998-99), 'Jack and the Beanstalk' (1999-2000) and ‘The Modernists’ (2003).
Jesse Spencer made his film debut in 'Lorna Doone' (2000). He followed this with roles in the movies ‘Curse of the Talisman' (2001), 'Stranded' (2002), 'Uptown Girls' (2003) and 'Death in Holy Orders' (2003). Besides these, he also starred in ‘Tell-Tale' (2010), 'Skum Rocks!' (2013) and 'The Girl Is in Trouble' (2015).
On television, Jesse Spencer is known for his chief roles in 'Neighbours' (1994-2000), 'House' (2004-12) and 'Chicago Fire' (2012-present) as well as guest roles in 'Time Trax' (1994), 'Chicago P.D.' (2014-present) and 'Chicago Med' (2017-present).
Uptown Girls is a romantic comedy drama film, which tells the story of a childish grown woman Molly Gunn, who is forced to get a job after her money is stolen by her manager. She ends up working as a nanny of an 8-year-old girl, who ironically, acts like an adult.
