English actress, comedian, and television personality Emily Atack began her acting career in 2007 with an episode of the crime drama TV series ‘Blue Murder’. Following this, in 2008, she acted in an episode of another series – this time the police procedural period drama series ‘Heartbeat’. The same year, she bagged her breakthrough role in E4's award-winning coming-of-age television teen sitcom ‘The Inbetweeners’. In this, she was seen as Charlotte Hinchcliffe in six episodes till 2010. In 2009 she played the role of Cranchesterford teenager in the TV movie ‘Mid Life Christmas’ and the next year once again acted in an episode each of TV series ‘Rock & Chips’ and ‘Little Crackers’. The year 2010 also saw her participating as a contestant in the 5th season of the reality TV series ‘Dancing on Ice’. She was paired up with the professional skater Fred Palascak and was the 8th contestant to be eliminated from the show.
In 2012, Emily Atack appeared as a panellist on the comedy panel game show ‘Celebrity Juice’ and also made her feature film debut with the comedy film ‘Outside Bet’. In the film, she had a supporting role of Katie. Other than this, she acted in an episode of TV series ‘Me and Mrs Jones’ too. She subsequently had supporting roles in the action movie 'Get Lucky' (2013, role: Bridget) and the comedy movie 'Almost Married' (2014, role: Lydia) as well as a main role in the crime horror thriller movie 'The Hoarder' (2015, role: Molly). In 2014, she became part of a short drama film titled ‘Unforgivable’ and played the role of Kirsty in it.
In 2015, she joined the cast of the first season of the ITV2 impressions/character sketch show titled ‘The Keith Lemon Sketch Show’. In this show, Emily Atack played various characters. In 2016-2017, she once again played various characters in 6 episodes of the comedy series ‘Tracey Ullman's Show’. The year 2016 additionally saw her portraying the main role of Daphne in the war comedy film 'Dad's Army' and the supporting role of Liz in the action-comedy horror film ‘Zombie Spring Breakers’. Another short film titled ‘Broken Glass’ wherein she played the part of Marie came out this year too. The following year, she played the supporting role of Colleen in the romantic drama film ‘Lost in Florence’ and Tracy in the romance crime thriller movie ‘Lies We Tell’. Apart from this, in 2017, she acted in an episode each of various other TV series as well. These include ‘Father Brown’, ‘The Keith and Paddy Picture Show’, ‘Birds of a Feather’ and ‘Sky Comedy Christmas Shorts’.
In 2018, a couple of more films wherein Emily Atack had supporting roles came out. These were the comedy film ‘Patrick’ and the romance comedy drama 'Alright Now'. In the former, she played the role of Becky while in the latter, she was seen as Mandy. The same year she became a part of the eighteenth season of the reality show ‘I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!’. In this show, she finished as the runner-up. As a contestant, she also appeared in ‘I'm a Celebrity: Extra Camp’ in 2018 and a year later returned to the show as its presenter. In 2019, she presented some other TV shows too. Amongst them were ‘Emily Atack: Adulting’ and ‘Singletown’. Other than these, the year saw her appearing as herself in the reality series ‘Celebrity Gogglebox’ too. As an actress, she worked in an episode of the biographical comedy drama series ‘Urban Myths’ and began appearing in the family comedy drama series ‘Almost Never’. In the latter, she played the regular role of Meg/Emily in its 20 episodes till 2020. Her film credit of 2019 was the Finnish-German comic science fiction action film ‘Iron Sky: The Coming Race’ wherein she was seen in the role of Tyler.
This was followed by the main role of Maxine Cole in the comedy film ‘The Understudy’. The movie released in 2020, the same year when Emily Atack wrote and starred in her own comedy show called ‘The Emily Atack Show’. The show, in which she appears as herself as well as various characters, has aired 3 seasons till 2022. In 2020 again, she became the team captain in the 24th season of the ITV2's comedy panel game series 'Celebrity Juice'. She has, since then, appeared in two more seasons of the show till 2022. Her latest film release was the 2022 sci-fi horror thriller ‘Dark Cloud’ in which she played the role of Aida.
