American actor, comedian and director Charles Nelson Reilly is best known for his comic roles in movies and television shows. His highest rated performance as an actor on the big screen has been in the documentary movie ‘Toots’ (2008). His other highly rated performances include ‘Charlotte’s Web’ (1973), ‘Queen Margot’ (1994), ‘Broadway: The Golden Age’ (2004) and ‘The Life of Reilly’ (2007). During the course of his career that spanned over 60 years a few of his movies like ‘Cannonball Run II’ (1984), ‘Rock-a-Doodle’ (1992) and ‘A Troll in Central Park’ did not do too well at the box office.
Reilly received positive reviews for his appearance on ‘The Larry Sanders Show’ (1996). His role as Jose Chung in ‘The X-Files’ (1996) also got the thumbs up. He appeared in the series ‘Charles in Charge’ (1989), ‘Family Matters’ (1996) and ‘The Drew Carey Show’ (1998 – 1999). His voice was dubbed for the animated series ‘Sponge Bob Square Pants’ (2001 – 2002) and he appeared a guest on the show ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ (2011).
