In the period drama-film ‘The Sound of a Flower’ (2014) Bae portrayed ‘Jin Chae-sun’ the first female ‘Pansori’ singer who had to fight against the social norms of the time. She played lead as ‘Noh-eul’ in romantic-melodrama series ‘Uncontrollably Fond’ (2016).
After a successful debut solo-album, Bae starred as ‘Nam Hong-ju’ in legal-drama fantasy-thriller series ‘While You Were Sleeping’ (2017). She played a ‘secret agent’ in spy-action drama-series ‘Vagabond’ (2019), followed by action-disaster film ‘Ashfall’ (2019). She essayed ambitious entrepreneur in her recent starrer, drama-series ‘Start Up’ (2020).
