Anusha Dandekar is an Indian VJ and actress who grew up in Australia. She has hosted a number of ‘MTV’ shows, such as ‘Splitsvilla,’ ‘MTV Love School’ and ‘MTV Teen Diva.’ She moved to Mumbai at the age of 19 to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. She made her debut as the host of ‘MTV’s ‘House of Style.’ In 2008, she hosted ‘MTV Dance Crew’ and eventually found more work in ‘MTV’ shows, such as ‘MTV Teen Diva’ (2009), ‘MTV Rock On’ (2010) and ‘India’s Next Top Model’ (2015). She made guest appearance in shows such as ‘MTV Troll Police’ (2018) and ‘Ace of Space’ (2018).
She made her film debut in the romantic comedy ‘Mumbai Matinee’ (2003). She was also seen in films, such as ‘Viruddh’ (2005), ‘Anthony Kaun Hai’ (2006), ‘Hello’ (2008), ‘City of Gold’ (2010), ‘Delhi Belly’ (2011) and ‘Bhavesh Joshi’ (2018). She presently hosts ‘MTV Love School.’
