Stephanie Sigman started her career on Mexican television and made her debut on the big screen in the film ‘Rio de Oro’ (2010). She got her first lead role as Laura Guerrero in the crime drama film ‘Miss Bala’ (2011). She received positive reviews for her performance in the movie and was nominated for a Dublin Film Critics Award.
Her highest rated performance came in the Canadian documentary ‘Fight of the Butterflies’ (2012). Sigman appeared in a recurring role in the crime drama series ‘The Bridge’ (2014) and played the role of Monica Salazar in the anthology crime drama series ‘American Crime’ (2015 – 2016).
While her work on television was being appreciated, her movies ‘Alicia en el pais de Maria’ and ‘Pioneer’ received mixed reviews, in 2014.
With her appearance in ‘Spectre’ (2015), Sigman became the second Mexican Bond girl. She also appeared in the music video ‘Snap Out of it’ by the Arctic Monkeys.
