Seo Hyun-jin made her screen debut in the 2006 South Korean romance film ‘Love Me Not,’ directed by Lee Cheol-ha. That same year, he also starred in the Korean drama ‘Hwang Jini’ in which she grabbed the role of ‘Jung Ka-eun.’ She next starred in films and television shows like ‘H.I.T’ (2007), ‘Story of Wine’ (2008), ‘Dating on Earth’ (2008), ‘Magic’ (2010), ‘Ashamed’ (2011), ‘The Duo’ (2011), ‘Feast of the Gods’ (2012), and ‘The Peach Tree’ (2012). In 2012, she joined the cast of the South Korean television series ‘Here Comes Mr. Oh’ as ‘Na Jin-joo.’ The show aired 129 episodes before going off-air in 2013. After appearing in television shows: ‘Goddess of Fire’ (2013) and ‘Drama Festival: Unrest’ (2013), Hyun-jin grabbed the role of ‘Soo Baek-hyang / Seol-nan’ in the Korean-language historical drama ‘The King's Daughter, Soo Baek-hyang’ in 2013. The show aired its final episode in 2014 after running 108 episodes. She continued to appear in television shows like ‘The Three Musketeers’ (2014), ‘Let's Eat 2’ (2015), ‘Another Miss Oh’ (2016), and ‘Hey Ghost, Let's Fight’ (2016).
In 2016, she starred as ‘Sang-mi’ in the South Korean comedy-drama film ‘Familyhood,’ directed by Kim Tae-gon. The film grossed over US$15 million at the box office. That same year, she became a part of the main cast of the South Korean television series ‘Dr. Romantic.’ She played the role of ‘Yoon Seo-jung’ and remained a part of the show until 2017. Hyun-jin continued to star in television shows like ‘Temperature of Love’ (2017), ‘Let's Eat 3’ (2018), ‘The Beauty Inside’ (2018), ‘Black Dog: Being A Teacher’ (2019-2020), ‘Record of Youth’ (2020), and ‘You Are My Spring’ (2021). She was last seen playing the role of ‘Oh Soo-jae’ in the 2022 South Korean television series ‘Why Her.’
