Rosey Grier is an illustrious American former professional football player, singer, Protestant minister, and actor. A prominent football star, he made a transition to acting by making more than 65 television guest appearances. He was seen in ‘I Dream Of Jeannie,’ where he did a cameo by playing an athletic trainer. He also portrayed one of the security contingents in ‘The Man from U.N.C.L.E.’ In 1969, he became a regular cast member on the series ‘The White Shadow,’ ‘Daniel Boone,’ and ‘Make Room for Granddaddy.’ Some of his other popular film credits include ‘Second Chance,’ ‘Carter’s Army,’ ‘The Treasure of Jamaica Reef,’ ‘The Glove,’ ‘The Desperate Mission,’ ‘The Thing With Two Heads,’ ‘Rabbit Test,’ ‘Skyjacked,’ ‘Timber Tramps,’ ‘Roots: The Next Generations,’ ‘The Wild, Wild West,’ etc.
