Ronnie Corbett was a Scottish actor, stand-up comedian, and writer, best remembered for his performance alongside Ronnie Barker in ‘The Two Ronnies,’ from 1971 to 1987. He became quite popular for ‘The Frost Report’ (1966-67) on ‘BBC One.’ His other popular TV appearances came in ‘Crackerjack!’ (1957-58), ‘Now Look Here’ (1971-73), ‘Sorry!’ (1981-88), ‘The Ben Elton Show’ (1998), ‘The Two Ronnies Sketchbook’ (2005), and ‘Loose Women’ (2010). He made his film debut in ‘You're Only Young Twice,’ in 1952. His successful films include ‘Rockets Galore!’ (1957), ‘Some Will, Some Won't’ (1970), ‘The Rise and Rise of Michael Rimmer’ (1970), ‘Fierce Creatures’ (1997), and ‘Burke and Hare’ (2010). Some of his failed films are ‘Fun at St. Fanny's’ (1956), ‘Casino Royale’ (1967), and ‘No Sex Please, We're British’ (1973). His last screen appearance came in an episode of ‘Ronnie's Animal Crackers’ in 2013, as the presenter.
