Mike Lookingland is best known for his role as Robert ‘Bobby’ Brady in the family drama television show ‘The Brady Bunch,’ which was aired on the ABC network from September 1969 to March 1974.
He started as a child artist at the age of seven and appeared in numerous commercials such as Cheerios cereal and Band-Aid. He did a voice role for the animated film version of the sixth studio album of Harry Nilsson titled ‘The Point’ which was released in 1971.
Lookinland appeared alongside Paul Newman in the box office hit ‘The Towering Inferno’ (1974) and was a cast member of the superhero television series ‘The Secrets of Isis’ (1975 – 1977). He appeared in the Christmas special movie ‘A Very Brady Christmas’ (1988) and the sequel series ‘The Bradys’ (1990). He portrayed himself in ‘Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star’ (2003). The film, however, failed to have an impact on the audience.
He has appeared as a guest on ‘The Late Show With Stephen Colbert’ and joined the original cast of ‘The Brady Bunch’ in the series ‘A Very Brady Renovation’ (2919).
