American – South Korean singer and actress Krystal Jung started her career in the entertainment industry as a member of the South Korean girl band ‘f(x)’ in 2009. She appeared in a number of music videos as part of the ‘Melody Project’ and hosted the ‘W-Wave’ show. She made her acting debut with a minor role in the popular sitcom ‘More Charming by Day’ and won the MBC Entertainment Newcomer Comedy Award 2010.
She has appeared in a number of popular television shows, including ‘High Kick: Revenge of the Short Legged’ (2011 – 2012), ‘My Lovely Girl’ (2014), and ‘Prison Playbook’ (2017). She was a regular cast member in the variety show ‘OnStyle’ (2014) and participated as a contestant in SBS’s ‘Kiss & Cry’ reality show.
Jung has acted as herself in the films ‘I AM. – SM Town Live World Tour in Madison Square Garden’ (2012), ‘Listen to My Song’ (2015) and ‘SMTOWN The Stage’ (2015). She also appeared as Fei Yan in the movie ‘Unexpected Love’ (2019).
