Jessica Mauboy is an American singer-songwriter and actress. She made her film debut in the adaption of the musical ‘Bran Nue Dae’ (2010). This was followed by a lead role in the Australian film ‘The Sapphires’ (2012). The movie became one of the highest-grossing movies of her acting career and fetched her AACTA Award as well as an Australian Film Critics Association Award.
On television also, Jessica Mauboy has always managed to stun audience with her mesmerizing acting skills. She had her first major television role in the drama series ‘The Secret Daughter’ (2016). Her role of a part-time pub singer in the series earned her the Logie Award nomination for Best Actress.
