Anna Mouglalis, the house ambassador for ‘Chanel’ (since 2002), started her acting career with theater performance. French director Francis Girod cast her as ‘Clair’ in his 1997 film ‘Terminale.’
Next, Mouglalis appeared in French director Claude Chabrol’s psychological-thriller film ‘Merci pour le Chocolat’ (2000). The same year, she also appeared in drama-film ‘’La captive,’ and ‘De I’histoire ancienne.’ She was seen in director Jean-Pierre Limosin’s romantic-comedy ‘Nova’ (2002) and starred in experimental film ‘La Vie nouvelle’ (2002) and Hugo Santiago’s ‘The Wolf of the West Coast’ (2002).

Mouglalis received ‘Best New Actress Award’ at ‘Cabourg Film Festival’ for her performance in acclaimed Italian criminal-drama by Michele Placido, ‘Romanzo Criminale’ (2005). She also starred in Roberta Torre’s Italian film ‘Mare Nero’ (2006).
In TV-movie ‘Les Amants du Flore’ (2006) by director Ilan Duran Cohen, Mouglalis portrayed French philosopher-writer ‘Simon de Beauvoir’ and her years at the Sorbonne with Jean-Paul Satre. The film and her performance garnered rave reviews. She next played French fashion-designer ‘Coco Chanel’ in French romantic-drama ‘Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky’ (2009).
In French drama-biopic ‘Gainsbourg: A Heroic Life’ (2010) Mouglalis played French singer-actress ‘Juliette Greco.’ Her further starrers include drama-film ‘Mammuth’ (2010), ‘Chez Gino’ and ‘L’angle mort’ in 2011, American vampire-film ‘Kiss of the Damned’ (2012), French drama-film ‘Jealousy’ (2013), Italian drama-film that was screened at various Film Festivals ‘Leopardi’ (2014), ‘Un Voyage’ (2014), titular role in Canadian drama-film ‘Anna’ (2015), and American film ‘Split’ (2016) amongst others.
Mouglalis received nomination for ‘ACS Award for Best Actress’ for her work in French political-drama TV-series ‘Baron Noir’ (2016). Next, she portrayed French actress Paula Maxa in French mystery-thriller film (for Netflix) ‘The Most Assassinated Woman in the World’ (2018).
Mouglalis’ later starrers are ‘My Little One’ (2019), ‘The Salamander’ (2021) and award-winning French drama-thriller film by Audrey Diwan, ‘Happening’ (2021).
