Luisana Lopilato started out as a child actor and was first seen in the Argentine children's musical telenovela series, 'Chiquititas' in 1997. She initially appeared as a guest actor on the show but was given the role of ‘Luisana Maza’ in 1999. She remained a part of the show till 2001. Lopilato made her big-screen debut with the 2001 Argentine drama film ‘Un amor en Moisés Ville’ directed by Daniel Barone and Antonio Ottone. That same year, she also reprised her role as ‘Luisana Maza’ in ‘Chiquititas: Rincón de luz,’ the movie adaptation of the telenovela series, 'Chiquititas.'
In 2002, Lopilato joined the cast of the telenovela series ‘Rebelde Way’ as ‘Mía Colucci.’ The show ran from May 2002 to November 2003 and aired 318 episodes. She continued appearing in television series like ‘Los Pensionados’ (2004), ‘Numeral 15’ (2005), ‘Alma Pirata’ (2006), ‘Atracción x4’ (2008-2009), ‘Alguien que me quiera’ (2010), and ‘En terapia’ (2013). Lopilato has also maintained her presence on the big screen and has starred in films like ‘Erreway: 4 caminos’ (2004), ‘Dad for a Day’ (2009), ‘Plumíferos’ (2010), ‘Los que aman, odian’ (2017), and ‘Perdida’ (2018).
Luisana Lopilato was last seen in the 2020 Argentine crime-thriller film ‘Intuition’ where she played the role of ‘Manuela Pelari.’ She is all set to appear in the upcoming thriller film ‘Predeterminados’ directed by Jordi Arencón.
