Lory Del Santo made her big-screen debut in the 1977 Italian comedy film ‘Ecco noi per esempio’ directed by Sergio Corbucci. Following her debut, she went on to star in films like ‘Where Are You Going on Holiday?’ (1978), ‘Geppo il folle’ (1978), ‘Dear Father’ (1979), ‘Gardenia’ (1979), ‘Where Can You Go Without the Little Vice?’ (1979), ‘The Great Alligator River’ (1979), ‘I'm Photogenic’ (1980), ‘Sunday Lovers’ (1980), ‘L'onorevole con l'amante sotto il letto’ (1981), ‘Bollenti spiriti’ (1981), ‘W la foca’ (1982), and ‘La gorilla’ (1982).
In 1983, she joined the main cast of the Italian television variety show ‘Drive In’, created by Antonio Ricci. The series ran for 6 seasons and aired its final episode in 1988. She continued to appear in television series and shows such as ‘Ciao Darwin’ (2000-2001), ‘L'Isola dei Famosi’ (2005), ‘Saturday Night Live from Milano’ (2006), ‘La Fattoria’ (2009), and ‘Missione seduzione’ (2010-2011).
In 2014, she joined the Italian television entertainment news program ‘Pomeriggio Cinque.’ Del Santo next appeared in television shows such as ‘Pechino Express’ (2016), ‘Domenica Live’ (2017-2021), ‘Grande Fratello VIP’ (2018), and ‘Back to School’ (2022). She last appeared as a contestant in the 16th season of the Italian reality show, ‘L'isola dei famosi’ in 2022.
