South Korean actress Jung So-min made her acting debut in a supporting role in the melodrama television series ‘Bad Guy’ (2010). This was closely followed by her playing the lead role in the romantic comedy series ‘Playful Kiss’ the same year. The series was not very popular in South Korea but furthered her profile as an upcoming actress abroad. Her other television appearances include the series ‘Can We Get Married?’ (2013), ‘The Sound of Your Heart’ (2016) and ‘The Smile Has Left Your Eyes’ (2018).
So-min first appeared on the big screen in the short film ‘Worst Friends’ (2009). She then concentrated on television till she was featured in the coming of age film ‘Twenty’ in 2015. She made a special appearance in the movie ‘Golden Slumber’ (2018) and recently appeared as Hae-won in ‘Gibang Bachelor’ (2019). She has released her maiden single titled ‘Because You’re Here’ in 2017 and featured in her radio programme titled ‘Jung So-min’s Young Street’ which started in 2018 and is running till date.
