Arrogant phonetics professor, Henry Higgins, believes he can teach anyone to speak high-society English perfectly, including Eliza Doolittle who has a strong cockney accent. As Eliza advances, a bond develops between her and Higgins. But the appearance of young aristocrat Freddy who is infatuated with Eliza might upset the balance.
