Jaycee Chan is an American-born Hong Kong actor as well as singer. He began his career in 2003, making his film debut in 'The Twins Effect II' (2004) alongside his father Jackie Chan. This was followed by the movies '2 Young' (2005) and 'Invisible Target' (2007).
Till date, the actor has appeared in a number of movies including 'McDull, the Alumni' (2006), 'The Heavenly Kings' (2006), 'The Sun Also Rises' (2007), 'The Drummer' (2007), 'PK.COM.CN' (2007), 'Tracing Shadow' (2009),'Mulan' (2009), 'Break Up Club' (2010), '1911' (2011), 'East Meets West' (2011), 'Double Trouble' (2012), 'Love Speaks' (2013), 'Monk Comes Down the Mountain' (2015) and 'Railroad Tigers' (2016).
Jaycee Chan has also worked as a voice artist. He has voiced the animated characters in the films ‘Secrets of the Furious Five’ (2008), ‘Kung Fu Panda’ (2008) and ‘Kung Fu Panda 2’ (2011).
When her homeland is threatened by barbarians, a young girl named Mulan wishes to enlist in the army. However, since females are not allowed, she has no other option but to disguise herself as a male. She continues her journey through dangerous battles and enemies, and over time, she rises to become one of her country’s best leaders. However, keeping her secret seems more challenging than she had imagined, and therefore she tries to win the war before she gets exposed.
This historical drama film is based on the founding of the Republic of China. Nationalist forces led by Sun Yat-sen, China’s first president, and military commander Huang Xing, lead the revolutionary Wuchang Uprising to overthrow the reign of the Qing Dynasty.
