Elsa Lafuente Medianu or Elsa Pataky first appeared on the Spanish TV-series ‘Al salir de clase’ and the short-film ‘Solo en la buhardilla’ in 1997.
Pataky starred in several Spanish films and also featured in British-French films. Some of her appearances include ‘The Art of Dying,’ ‘Less is More’ (2000), ‘Don’t Tempt Me,’ and ‘Twelfth Night’ (2001). She portrayed ‘Senora Vera Hidalgo’ in the series ‘Queen of Swords’ (2000), and played ‘a teacher’ in the Spanish comedy-drama series ‘Los serrano’ (2003).
After starring in ‘Beyond Re-Animator’ (2003), and ‘Romasantha: The Werewolf Hunt’ (2004) in 2005, she featured in the French movie ‘Iznogoud’ and played the title role in the Spanish comedy ‘Ninette.’
Pataky’s first American film was ‘Snakes on a Plane’ (2006), followed by the action-crime-thriller ‘Give ‘Em Hell, Malone’ and the horror-film ‘Giallo’ in 2009. She appeared in the Mexican series ‘Mujeres Asesinas’ and starred in the Spanish film ‘Di Di Hollywood’ (2009).
Pataky featured as officer 'Elena Neves’ in ‘Fast & Furious’ franchises’ ‘Fast Five’ (2011), ‘Fast & Furious 6’ (2013), ‘Furious 7’ (2015), and ‘The Fate of the Furious’ (2017).
She appeared in ‘All Things to All Men’ (2013), ‘12 Strong’ (2018), and played the lead ‘Adrielle’ in the Australian series ‘Tidelands’ (2018).
