Damian Watcyn Lewis first appeared on TV-movie ‘Micky Love’ (1993), series ‘Agatha Christie’s Poirot’ (1995) and detective-series ‘A Touch of Frost’ (1996). His debut movie was ‘Robinson Crusoe’ (1997).
After appearing in stage-production ‘Hamlet,’ TV-movie ‘Warriors’ (1996), and TV-series ‘Hearts and Bones’ (2000), Lewis featured in war-drama mini-series ‘Band of Brothers’ (2001), and drama-series ‘The Forsyte Saga’ (2002-2003).
Lewis’s starring roles in sci-fi horror movie ‘Dreamcatcher’ (2003), and drama-film ‘Keane’ (2004), fetched him praises. He appeared in TV-movies ‘Jeffrey Archer: The Truth’ As Jeffrey Archer, ‘Friends and Crocodiles’ (2005), and adaption of Shakespeare’s ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ (2005).
Lewis was the presenter on several episodes of panel-show ‘Have I Got News for You.’ He played lead in crime-drama series ‘Life’ (2007-2009).
