Ben Gibbard is an American singer and songwriter. He is best known as the lead vocalist and guitarist of the rock band ‘Death Cab for Cutie.’ The band has recorded 9 studio albums. Ben released his solo studio album titled ‘Former Lives’ in 2012. His first screen appearance came in a brief role in the 2009 comedy film ‘Brief Interviews with Hideous Men.’ In the same year, he was seen in a music documentary titled ‘Wheedle’s Groove.’ He has also written songs/music for many TV shows, including ‘The O.C’ (2003-2005), ‘How I Met Your Mother’ (2006), ‘Cold Case’ (2007-2010), ‘Smash’ (2013), and ‘The Affair’ (2018). His work has also appeared in films, such as ‘Wedding Crashers’ (2005), ‘Easy A’ (2010), ‘The Art of Getting By’ (2011), ‘Friends with Benefits’ (2011), and ‘Laggies’ (2014).
