In 1956, he appeared in ‘Who Done It?,’ a comedy crime film that earned mixed reviews. He starred in ‘Light Up The Sky!,’ a comedy drama film that earned a small profit but was well-received by the critics.
In 1965, he appeared in ‘Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines,’ a period epic comedy film that was a box-office success and earned positive critical review. He also starred in ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’ and ‘The Italian Job,’ a comedy caper. Hill earned various awards and accolades for his phenomenal performances, including a ‘Rose d’Or’ and a ‘BAFTA Award.’ He also bagged in two ‘Emmy Awards’ nominations.
