Walt Disney is synonymous with animation industry. He has been the man behind development and production of cartoons. Walt holds the feat of being the first individual for having 59 Oscar nominations and winning 22 of them. In 1928 he developed his first most successful character ‘Mickey Mouse.’ In early years he also voiced his characters. Technical developments in cameras, synchronized sounds and feature-length cartoons were introduced by Disney.
A cartoon series titled ‘Silly Symphonies’ were created by him in 1929. The first coloured cartoon by Disney that became the first cartoon to win an Academy Award was ‘Flowers and Trees.’ Some of his other successful features, animated and live-action films include ‘Cinderella,’ ‘Bambi,’ ‘Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs,’ ‘The Jungle Book,’ ‘Alice in Wonderland,’ ‘Sleeping Beauty,’ ‘Mary Poppins,’ ‘Pinocchio,’ ‘Dumbo,’ ‘Fantasia,’ and many more. Disney ventured into the amusement park industry and opened ‘Disneyland’ in 1955.

Afraid that Butch is in the basement, Mickey descends stealthily. Pluto hears the parrot talk, but thinks it’s the fish. Finally, they are relieved to find that it’s parrot and not Butch.
Mickey Mouse takes Pluto to a high-society dog show where Pluto gets enchanted by a Pekingese, Fifi. When the judge makes fun of Pluto, he goes after the judge; consequently, Mickey and Pluto are thrown out. Then a fire starts at the venue with Fifi stuck inside. Pluto fearlessly rescues Fifi from the burning building, and receives a medal for his bravery.

Bongo is an animated comedy short film, which tells the story of a performing bear, who escapes from the circus, and tries to adapt to life in the wild.
After a gorilla escapes, Mickey Mouse panics and calls Minnie Mouse. However, she claims that she is not afraid and plays a song to show it. Things take a turn when the gorilla comes up from behind her and grabs her. Now it is up to Mickey Mouse to save her.
Mickey and friends are having fun on the beach. Clarabelle loses her swimsuit in which Mickey gets entangled, receiving good whacking from Clarabelle. Pluto first chases a crab, then accidently drags a displeased octopus ashore while retrieving string of sausages tossed by Mickey. The menacing octopus disrupts the party, but Mickey gets rid of it by lassoing it with rope and anchor.
Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse are on a vacation in Arabia, but soon a sultan kidnaps Minnie. Therefore Mickey tries his best to rescue her from the sultan’s palace.

Mickey Mouse runs into a few cannibals while he is stranded on an island. They are about to cook and eat one of their own. However, Mickey scares them off and befriends the cannibal whom he calls Friday. Together they decide to build a fort to defend themselves from the cannibals.

Mickey is alarmed by an enraged lion that lands in crocodile’s mouth, while Mickey floats on a turtle.
The Whoopee Party is an animated short comedy film in which Mickey Mouse and his friends have a party where Minnie Mouse plays the piano, and their other friends prepare the snacks. Meanwhile, a police group is also invited to their party.
The Pet Store is an animated comedy short film which revolves around Mickey Mouse who gets a new job at a pet store. However, things get jeopardized when Beppo the Gorilla escapes and kidnaps Minnie Mouse. With the help of the animals in the store, Mickey decides to fight the gorilla and rescue her.
Although Mickey Mouse is busy with some yardwork, Pluto Dog interrupts him and creates a nuisance as he wants to play.
Unbeknownst to Minnie, her dog Fifi accidently drops popcorn kernels in Minnie’s cookies batter which she is baking for Mickey. As she forgets to remove them, the cookies start burning with popcorns popping up. While one explodes in Pluto’s tummy, Mickey sprays water on burning cookies. When Minnie starts crying, Mickey goes out and returns with a variety of cookies, making her smile.
The film revolves around Mickey Mouse and his dog Pluto as they deliver an order for Minnie Mouse. Mickey then helps with the dinner preparations as well, but things turn complicated when Pluto steals the turkey.

This animated adventure anthology musical film tells us two different stories. The first story is about a circus bear who receives the Call of the Wild, i.e. the urge to return to the forests. Eventually, he manages to escape, but life in the wild is unfortunately not as idealistic as he had expected. The second story is a Disney version of the well-known story ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’, with Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy in the main roles.
The comedy short takes place at a carnival site, where Cat Nipp, the barker, is trying to lure the crowds to see Minnie, "the Shimmy Dancer”. Mickey stands nearby selling hot dogs and the two gets into a brief dispute. Later, Minnie orders a hot dog from Mickey, offering to pay for it. But Mickey is already attracted towards her.
