Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ is an adventure romantic drama film which tells the story of Ben-Hur, a wealthy young Jewish prince, who is a friend fo the powerful Roman tribune, Messala. Ben-Hur’s life gets ugly when an accident and a false accusation leads him to getting arrested falsely. Instead of helping him, Messala, who has now become arrogant and corrupt, makes sure that Be-Hur is jailed and separated from the rest of his family.  

Maggie Johnson, a stockroom girl in Merrill departmental store falls in love with co-worker Joe Grant, who actually is the store-owner’s son working his way up to succeed on his own in life. The Black Pirate is an action adventure film which tells the story of a young man, whose father is murdered by a gang of pirates. The man therefore infiltrates the pirate gang, in order to take revenge. He plays an important role in the gang, helping them capture a ship. But he finds a young woman on board the ship whom he wants to protect from getting raped by the pirates.

The film tells us the story of Hortensio, who falls in love with Blanca, the youngest daughter of Baptista. However, Baptista refuses to allow the two to get married, until his eldest daughter Katherine, is engaged.

The Country Doctor is a short silent drama film, which tells the story of a doctor who leaves his sick daughter behind to assist a gravely ill neighbor. His wife requests him to come home and care for his own daughter, but he decides to ignore her.

The Little Darling is a short comedy film which tells the story of a group of young bachelors, who live in a boarding house, run by Lillie. When a friend writes to inform that she is sending her little daughter to pay a visit, all the bachelors buy toys for a little girl. However, they are surprised when they see an attractive young woman get down from the train.
