American dancer, actress, singer and model Mackenzie Ziegler is best known for participating in the Lifetime reality dance show ‘Dance Moms’ (2011 – 2016). Her other dance appearances include ‘Dance Moms: Most Outrageous Moments’ (2011), ‘Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition’ (2013), ‘Dance Moms Slumber Party’ (2015) and ‘Dancing with the Stars’ (2018). She has appeared in the television shows ‘Nightline’ (2012), ‘The Today Show’ (2015) and ‘Brat Holiday Spectacular’ (2018). She released her debut album ‘MackZ’ in 2014, which reached the number one position on the iTunes pop charts.
Ziegler and her mother were sued for violating their contract with Kismet Music and working with another producer in 2014. She auditioned for the Broadway musical ‘Annie’ in 2012, but lost the role to Emily Rosenfeld. Though she was rated as the best dancer in ‘Dancing with the Stars: Juniors’ (2018), she raise a controversy because she was already considered an accomplished dancer.
