British media personality and singer Kerry Katona began her career in the late 1990s as a member of the all-female pop group ‘Atomic Kitten’. She was seen in the music videos of various singles released by the group. These include ‘Atomic Kitten: Right Now’ (1999), ‘Atomic Kitten: See Ya’ (2000), ‘Atomic Kitten: I Want Your Love’ (2000), ‘Atomic Kitten: Follow Me’ (2000) and ‘Atomic Kitten: Whole Again’ (U.K. Version 1, 2001). Katona, thereafter, left the group and began working on television. She presented the TV Series ‘Britain's Sexiest’ (2002) and ‘Loose Women’ (2003-2004). In 2003, she appeared as the judge of the first season of ‘You're a Star’, the Irish music competition series broadcasted by RTÉ One. The next year, she participated as contestant in the third series of the British reality TV show ‘I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!’. In the show, which had other high-profile celebrities too, she emerged victorious. Following this, in 2005, she appeared as herself in the TV Movie documentary ‘My Fair Kerry’. In 2005 and 2006 respectively, Kerry Katona played the role of Denise in Ian Fitzgibbon directed drama TV movies ‘Showbands’ and ‘Showbands II’.
Thereafter, from 2007 to 2009, MTV aired three reality shows revolving around her – ‘Kerry Katona: Crazy in Love’, ‘Kerry Katona: Whole Again’ and ‘Kerry Katona: What's The Problem?’. In between in 2008, she played the role of Mary Loughlin in the comedy drama film ‘A Deal Is a Deal’. She then appeared as herself in TV Movie documentary ‘Kerry Katona: Coming Clean’ (2010) and TV Series documentary ‘Kerry Katona: The Next Chapter’ (2010-2011). In 2011, she participated in two reality shows – ‘Dancing on Ice’ and ‘Celebrity Big Brother’. In the first, she was teamed up with English ice skater Daniel Whiston and the two were the fifth pair to be eliminated from the show. In the latter show, she finished as a runner-up.
In 2013, the original members of the Atomic Kitten came together for ITV2’s reality-documentary series ‘The Big Reunion’. The show had the popular bands of the 1990s and early 2000s reuniting after a decade to perform together once again. The series was a hit. In 2019, she appeared in the E4’s dating reality series ‘Celebs Go Dating’. Following this, in 2021, she participated as a contestant in the TV series – ‘Celebs on the Farm’, ‘Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins’ and ‘Celebrity Ghost Trip’. She won the first series. In 2022, she yet again participated in a reality show named ‘Celeb Cooking School’.
